Anna Lee Ackermann is an award-winning filmmaker based in Chicago. Her director and producer debut short documentary, “As We Are Planted,” is available to view now! The documentary explores the issue of food insecurity in Chicago through two organizations on the South Side of Chicago. Among the film's many awards includes CineYouth's 2021 Chicago Award.
Today she is a social media manager and freelance videographer and editor.
Anna Lee's work has spanned various corporations, non-profits, and theatrical productions including Hamilton, SIX, and MJ The Musical.
When not working, you can find her baking, playing board games, or trying to convince her friends to go bouldering or skydiving with her!
